First, I had to do a typing test, then a phone interview, followed by a roleplay exercise, and the last step was an interview. It wasn't too difficult because they tend to hire in bulk, so they usually hire most people.
It was an assessment day. When you get there, they put you into groups. First, there's an ice breaker where you have to introduce the person next to you to the room, based on what they've told you. All through the day there are group tasks, and later, towards the end, you get taken away for a final one-on-one interview. It's generally very informal.
So there were 11 of us who signed in at reception and waited to be called. We got split into two tables and had to chat with the person next to us for 5 mins, then present them back to the room for 15 secs. Then we did some customer service scenarios in our group, which we had to present back to the room too. After that, we went to the call centre floor for an individual CS assessment. This was followed by an ASOS Q&A and a presentation. The last part was the one-to-one interview.
