The interview was easy, with 1 phone interview and 2 zoom interviews. The first zoom interview was with the manager, and the second was with the team I'd be working with.
A team member at Ascention pointed me to this position. I applied online and got rejected quickly, but the next day, I got an email asking for an interview. I spoke with an HR interviewer who then passed me on to the hiring manager for the team. They seemed confused about my rejection. The hiring manager didn't seem very interested in me and just asked generic questions, like they were just going through the motions. About a week later, I got a rejection email. Overall, it was a poor presentation for the company.
Applied online, and within a week, HR called to set up an onsite interview. They wanted to hire fast, and the hiring manager really liked my resume. The onsite was scheduled for two days later. The recruiter was super helpful and answered all my questions. I only met the hiring manager at the onsite, and it went well. I followed up two weeks after the interview and got a verbal offer over the phone. The offer was lower than my current salary, so I had to decline, even though the benefits looked great and promised good work-life balance.
