Candidate-reported interview process

The interview was about 15 minutes long. The interviewer was very thorough in explaining the role and compensation. I got the opportunity to ask questions at the end, and the recruiter was very helpful in answering them so that I could understand.

I applied on Indeed and got a call from a recruiter to schedule an in-person meeting at the store I was applying to. When I got there, I had to wait about 40 minutes before the first of three managers came to interview me. They give you a flexible arrival window based on the managers' availability. The first manager was friendly, the second was a bit intense, like he was testing my 'shark' potential, and the third was nice and neutral.

You'll meet with multiple managers back-to-back. Each one will ask different questions and chat with you about your personal drive in sales and any frustrations you've had in past jobs. They're looking to see if you can build rapport and steer a conversation by asking good questions. Once you think they're done, it's your turn to ask for the job and get a commitment from the General Sales Manager or GM. If you don't do this, they might not hire you. Always ask for the job, or ask if there's anything stopping them from hiring you right now. This is basically what you'll need to do with a buyer after going through the sales process.
