For the technical interview, brush up on SQL (queries, joins, aggregations), Python (logic, data structures), how to read coverage files, understand operations, and be quick, accurate, and methodological.
The Data Engineering role has a five-stage interview process. It starts with a take-home coding challenge to check your basic problem-solving abilities. Then, there's a profile match interview where they'll talk about your background and if you fit the role. After that, there are two technical interviews: one is a live Python coding interview for programming and algorithms, and the other is a live database entity design interview to see your data modeling skills. Finally, there's a partner interview with a senior leader to discuss your long-term vision and fit.
