The interview process started with a recruiter screen. Then there was a technical round. I received multiple emails about the technical round covering coding and a consulting case study, but got no response. During the interview, the interviewer didn't know what position I applied for and stated they only had 30 minutes for the hour-long interview. They quizzed me on textbook terms and seemed disengaged and condescending. I didn't advance, and honestly, after how I was treated, I didn't want to work there anyway.
It was a fast 20-minute call. They offered me a date pretty far out. The first round was super standard, just basic questions about my background. The whole point of the call was to see if I'd be a good fit for the job.
For the HR interview, make sure you have a clear motivation, communicate well, show teamwork, handle stress, give concrete project examples, be consistent in your background, and state your career goals. For the technical interview, brush up on SQL (queries, joins, aggregations), Python (logic, data structures), how to read coverage files, understand operations, and be quick, accurate, and methodological.
