I had a phone screening with HR and then a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed really cold. I tried my best to explain my freelance work and my 17 years of experience when she asked what I was doing since my last job ended, since I was unemployed at the time. She kept pushing the same question, 'what are you working on NOW?' I eventually admitted I wasn't working right now. The call ended quickly because she had another meeting. I emailed HR to follow up since I didn't have the hiring manager's contact info, but I never heard back from them.
So we start with a group interview. If you pass that you'll take a personality test online. After that, you'll meet with a manager for a mock sales call. If you do well, you'll meet with that manager again. If everything checks out, you'll have a drug test right after. Plan for 2-3 hours total.
This interview process was very unprofessional. They questioned me about not having a PMP, only to find out the hiring manager doesn't have one either. You can check the PMI website to see if someone has a PMP. Make sure you interview the hiring manager and review the company.
