I applied online and after a few days, I was invited for an interview. The interview was paper-based with questions printed out. The interview panel included an administrator and two other members from the department. They were respectful of my time and made a swift decision. The questions covered typical teacher topics.
I was observed by my prospective principal during summer school. We later met and took a tour of the school. There was no formal interview.
This interview process seems to be more about who knows you rather than your skills. It's incredibly unprofessional, and they seem to need you more than you need them. Typically, a principal or vice principal is involved, and maybe someone from the department. They usually seem more invested than the admin staff.
