Candidate-reported interview process

The first round was a quick 15-minute interview. They initially asked me to prepare a PowerPoint presentation, but the position was put on hold. A month later, they resumed the process and scheduled this first-round interview.

I had some phone calls with the recruiter to set up a meeting with the Hiring Manager. It was a single 1-hour meeting with the Hiring Manager where I got asked a lot of theoretical questions. Afterwards, there were many phone calls with the recruiter to get me to accept the offer.

I had two interviews. The first one was to check my technical skills in R. For the second one, I was asked to read a paper, but the interview focused on my ML competency, and we didn't discuss the paper.
