Areté Interview Questions

It was a pretty standard process. First, I had a talk with HR where they asked me some basic questions. Then, I moved on to an interview with the team, which led into a panel interview. After that, there was a solder test and a practical test to see if I could operate an oscilloscope. It's all pretty standard stuff, but they really wanted to hear that I wanted to become an engineer, so be sure to say that.

First, I had a call with HR, and they asked for some background check documents. Then, I did a technical interview on video where they asked me basic optics questions and checked my skills for current projects.

So there was like a 15 min screening first, then a 1hr technical screening where they went over my qualifications and asked some basic C++ and OS questions. After that, there was a 3 hour panel interview. For the panel, I had to present a project I did, which took about 15-20 mins, and I also had a take home assignment before that. The whole thing was pretty slow, took them a month after the technical screening to set up the panel.
