The interview process was hard. The team seemed nice and sold the company to me. The product is needed in the security space and the engineers were passionate. The 1st interviews were with security team members, technical and tough but thorough and relevant to my CV. The second interview stage was also technical but with harder scenario-based questions. The final interview was with senior leaders, starting technical then going through my CV. After the final interview over 3 weeks ago, HR was unresponsive to my update requests, similar to other reviews mentioning ghosting. It was a disappointing end.
It started with a regular HR phone screen. Then, I had a technical Zoom interview with two people from the SOC. They asked me standard info sec questions and had me analyze log snippets. They seemed to think I'd move on, but then they just ghosted me and didn't even give feedback when I followed up. All I got was that standard HR email.
First, there was an online screening chat over Zoom with a recruiter, lasting about 20 mins. They had their camera off, but I had mine on. A few days later, I had to do an online coding test.
