I had a phone call with a recruiter who described the role and compensation. The pay was heavily dependent on bonuses. The recruiter was friendly and seemed to be actively hiring for PM roles. After discussing the day-to-day responsibilities, I decided not to move forward.
The first step was a zoom meeting that lasted an hour. I chatted with two executives. They began by asking me to introduce myself and discuss my interests, after which we moved on to my experience.
I applied and got an interview through the campus career fair. After about 2 or 3 phone/video calls, I went to an office for a pretty long, multi-hour interview with several people, including lunch. The process was surprisingly chill, and they said they'd let me know within a week, before my other job offer deadline. That deadline passed, and I hadn't heard anything. I had to follow up multiple times before they finally said they were going with other people. It was a bit unprofessional, especially since they knew about my other deadline. I wish I'd gotten some feedback too.
