There are different stages, each with its own aim and requiring a distinct strategy. First, the Recruiter Screen is meant to verify if you match the requirements and spot any issues. Keep your responses straightforward and don't get overly technical. Try to connect with the recruiter, as they can be helpful later on. Also, inquire about the team and the company culture. Second, the Hiring Manager Interview is to determine if you have the practical skills for the role. Use concrete examples from your previous experiences and steer clear of unclear or general statements. Make sure to ask insightful questions relevant to the job.

This process had 4 interviews in 2 rounds, each lasting an hour. There were a few technical questions, and they also wanted to gauge personality and genuine interest. The whole thing can stretch out for months.
