Your first day, and there's usually a second day like it. You'll start with an hour-long chat with an HR person. They'll go over your resume, talk about your personality, what you look for in a good company, and your career goals. Then, you'll have another hour with an engineer or your potential boss. This chat will cover your resume again, give more details about the job itself, and explain the local company structure. Sometimes, they might ask if you know about steel production and its general process steps.
It was a really nice interview. The hiring manager and an HR person interviewed me. It was a behavioral interview, and they also went over my resume. They started with the resume review and then asked behavioral questions. The interview was about 40 minutes long. They said they'd let me know about the outcome, but I never heard back.
The application process was split into 2 separate days. First, a meeting with HR followed by a meeting with 2 process engineers. The second round was very similar, first a meeting with someone else from HR, followed by the line manager.
