Apty Fullstack Engineer interviews, decoded.

So, Apty.io's interview process kicked off with this online technical test, kind of an L1 thing, and it took about an hour. Then, a few days later, they brought me in for interviews at their office, which were all back-to-back. I had a face-to-face technical interview that went for about 1.5 hours, then a chat about cultural fit, and after that, I talked to the VP. After the in-office part, I had more online chats with the VP and then the founder. The last step was talking about salary, but the offer they made was way lower than what I was expecting. It was a bummer because I spent a lot of time on it, and it felt like things weren't aligned with what we talked about.

The interview process was really bad. It started with coding questions, but the problem description wasn't clear. When I asked for clarification, the interviewer couldn't explain it properly. So, yeah, it was terrible because the interviewer was unable to explain the problem statement well enough.

The process was alright, but it took a bit longer than I expected, and the HR could have followed up more to keep me updated on the process timeline.
