Had a good chat with the project manager and chief engineer. They were great guys and we talked about the product industry casually. As long as you show interest and foresight, you will do well.
I found this role on their careers page and sent in my application. After a couple weeks, I heard back from an HR person for a quick call. About a week after that, they sent over an email to schedule the interview. The interview was conducted online and lasted for an hour and a half. Overall, I think it went pretty well.
There were two main parts to the interview process. First, there was a phone screening, which could have been with HR or the hiring manager. After that, there was a longer interview that lasted about 90 to 120 minutes. This part included a 30-minute chat with HR and then a 60-90 minute session with engineers where they tested my knowledge of electronics and Python programming. I heard back about the decision within two weeks.
