APTIM Scientist interviews, decoded.

I had an online interview with two people from the company. One of them didn't have their camera on, but everyone was nice. They first asked me about my education and work history. Then, they spent the rest of the time explaining what the job would be like. It was a bit different than the job posting and what the HR person told me. The job was supposed to be hybrid with one day in the field, but it turns out it's 75% traveling to different cities for weeks at a time using your own car. I decided to withdraw my application because of this.

Had an initial phone call screening with HR. Then had a follow-up virtual interview with two employees. They didn't seem very interested or engaged and looked like they were making up questions on the spot. I followed up with HR and the interviewers about the status but never heard back.

Had one interview with the leadership team. It was mostly behavioral questions, not a lot of technical ones. They asked if I was comfortable with the job's requirements and workload. Overall description of the position.
