Aptara Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

I applied through Naukri portal. It took about 3-4 hours in total. There were 3 rounds. First was a written test with technical questions and two optional, subjective mail questions. I did my best on the first round. The second round was technical. The third round was a managerial round where they asked general questions. The interviewer gave positive feedback and said HR would contact me the next day, but I didn't hear back. After 2-3 days, I emailed HR and was told my feedback wasn't positive. I asked for specific areas to improve, but got no response.

The interview was pretty average, with 3 rounds total. It kicked off with a technical round, then a manager round, and finally an HR round. All the interviewers were super chill and helpful, which was nice. The only downside was having to wait for days between rounds.

Interview was good. Hiring manager knew the questions and answers well. They asked about both technical and management topics. The interview was about an hour long and went well.
