Had a nice initial chat with the recruiter. We then set up a technical interview. But, two days before, I got a calendar invite cancelling it without any explanation or email. After I reached out, the recruiter gave an explanation.
I had a call from HR, and then a Zoom interview with the head of data science and another data scientist with 1-2 years of experience. I had to do some coding on a shared screen.
The interview process had four parts. First, a recruiter screen, then a technical screen with the hiring manager, followed by an online coding test, and finally on-site interviews. The recruiter was great, answered questions quickly and gave a good company overview. Questions covered NLP, deep learning, coding for algorithms & data structures, and machine learning system design. The on-site interviews were more like deep technical dives and open-ended discussions.
