The interview process was good, making me feel confident and supported throughout. The HR and seniors were helpful. Overall, it seems like a good place to be and implement your skills on the go.
My experience interviewing at AppZen was really all over the place and not very professional. I was prepped to do a mock sales call, and I even had an assignment ready for it. But instead, the chat went totally off the rails into personal stuff about festivals and raves once they noticed my hobbies. One manager even dropped comments about drug use, which was super out of line. Even though they said I got the job right then and there, I later got an email saying I was rejected, with zero explanation. It all just left me feeling confused and let down, because it didn't feel like a real or respectful hiring process.
It was a decent interview process. It had 2 rounds, one coding round which included a front-end design challenge and some basic javascript questions, and another round for system design/hollistic overview of front-end tech. Sometimes a third round is also conducted.
