Appspace Interview Questions

The interview process was good. It had four rounds total. The first round was a general screening call with the recruiter. The second round was with two US-based CS managers. Next, you'll talk to the Director of CS for the US. If you make it past that, there's a fifth conversation with someone outside the department who just checks if you're not an idiot and are a decent human with common sense. There weren't any major demos or projects to present. It was straightforward and nice, mostly just conversations with your potential bosses.

It was a really long interview process, about 5 months in total. There was 1 phone screening and then 4 interviews. They didn't follow up much between interviews. The whole thing felt pretty disorganized and confusing; I wasn't sure who I was talking to or how it all fit the role. Near the end, they actually told me they still had a lot of other candidates to get through, which I thought was weird to hear that late in the game.

The hiring process was pretty standard. I applied, and it took a few months to get an initial interview with the recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager, who seemed really interested in me. At the end of that conversation, they asked me to email the recruiter to set up a presentation for the team, which was supposed to be the final step. However, when I contacted the recruiter to schedule it, I received a generic rejection email with no explanation. It was a pretty disappointing experience, and I hope they improve their process.
