The interview involved basic questions about manipulating strings, arrays, and hashmaps. There was also a system design question about a URL shorter, and some discussion about my projects.
It was a well-organized and professional interview. The people interviewing me were nice, and they asked good technical and behavioral questions. They also explained the job and what they're looking for. Overall, it was a good and interesting experience.
I worked on building and keeping up scalable apps in Java, Python, JavaScript, and C++ to fit what the business needed. I also worked with different teams like product managers, designers, and other engineers to figure out software requirements, architecture, and features. I even led some stuff to make software run better, cutting down system latency by X% by optimizing code and refactoring. Plus, I implemented RESTful APIs and connected with other services to make the system work better and improve user experience.
