It was an average interview experience, mostly focused on experience-based questions. They asked about handling situations like a full EBS, choosing a filetype system, and scaling out with SSDs. No live coding was involved.
7 rounds total, spanned about two months. Went from HR, then engineers, and finally an exec. Got a rejection email, which says a lot about their culture.
The interviewer asked me to introduce myself, so I shared a presentation about my background. They then dug into my internship experience and side projects, and also asked some system design questions about API design and how to improve my existing side project. Lastly, they gave me a database merge question and asked me to write the solution in Google Docs.
