Posted the job in May, but interviews didn't get set up until August. They canceled an interview last minute, then rescheduled. On the day of the rescheduled interview, nobody got back to me. The recruiter then emailed me asking to pick another day to interview. I told them I wasn't interested anymore. It felt super sketchy and unprofessional.
I heard from a recruiter, then talked to the hiring manager. After that, I had 4 back-to-back 30-minute in-person meetings, which left me pretty beat. I also had to do a presentation for some team members. I really liked the people I met and would consider the job if it were a better fit, but they chose someone else with more varied experience. I had a good chat with the person who used to do this job, and they had good things to say about the company. I think I would have liked working there.
I had a quick phone call, then a long in-person interview. During the interview, most interviewers asked weird questions, about my political beliefs, or said I wasn't technical enough. Then, they suggested me for a different role and I had to go through the same process. Again, they asked the same weird logic questions, asked about my political beliefs, and said I wasn't technical enough. I guess I didn't match their values or idea of a good candidate, and I'm not sure why they wasted everyone's time.
