Candidate-reported interview process

The recruiter reached out and walked me through the whole process. Then I had an interview with the manager over Google Meet. After that, there was a panel interview that took up most of the day, also on Google Meet. It was pretty straightforward and overall a good process.

It started with an HR interview over the phone, not video. This was the first step before talking to the hiring manager. There were a lot of great candidates, so I was up against some amazing talent.

The recruiter contacted me about a remote instructional designer position. It was a phone screening, and honestly, it felt like a complete waste of my time. The recruiter didn't seem engaged and was talking really fast, like they wanted to end the call quickly. They showed no real interest in my background or the interview itself. When I asked a question, they just chuckled. It felt unprofessional, and I knew right away I wouldn't be moving to the next round. Such a letdown.
