Apollo.io Account Executive interviews, decoded.

The interview process started with a recruiter call, which was a bit strange. The questions were mainly focused on my immigration history and visa status. Following that, there was a short 9-minute interview with the hiring manager who didn't seem very engaged. The only question asked was 'tell me about yourself,' and the rest of the time was spent with me asking questions. It felt like a formality, possibly because they had already selected a candidate, especially since this was the second stage I reached.

The interview process was super straightforward. I had a few screening calls with Heather Campbell, who was awesome. She was really upfront about what the job is and isn't, which I totally appreciated. From the very first time I interacted with the Apollo Team, I knew I wanted to join the company.

It was three easy steps. The first was with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and the last was a role play. Scheduling each step was very straight forward and easy. There were two 30-minute interviews and one 45-minute interview.
