Candidate-reported interview process

So I went through this interview process with Apixio, it was 3 rounds. It started with HR, then the hiring manager, and then a senior engineer. I was getting good vibes and thought I might get an offer. But then... nothing. They never got back to me, and then I saw the job posting again with some changes. It was rough because I didn't even know Apixio before they reached out. I've been laid off for a year and am in a bridge job just to get by, so an offer would have meant a lot. It was disappointing not to hear anything back, even a simple rejection.

Extremely streamlined interview process, amazing experience. They were very flexible and willing to work with me. My schedule necessitated the process to take 3 weeks, but without delays on my part it would take only 2 weeks. Entire process was virtual and was clearly communicated upfront. Each interviewer was very friendly and allowed at least 10-15m to ask questions/chat about the company. 1. Phone screen with recruiter (45m) 2. Light technical screening (1hr) 3. In-depth coding + system design + culture fit + engineering VP, all on same day (1hr each, 4hr total) 4. CEO chat (30m) 5. Offer

The interview process for a Software Engineer at Apixio is pretty standard for tech companies. I actually found the people I spoke with at Apixio to be the most pleasant and engaging compared to the other places I interviewed at last fall. They were really good about letting me ask a bunch of questions so I could get a better feel for the company, which was great.
