Candidate-reported interview process

The company is efficient in advancing candidates they see as a good fit. My contact, Raj from HR, was great at getting feedback from the managers and setting up the next interviews. I interviewed with the hiring manager first, then the VPs of engineering and ops, and finally the VP of product. For the last stages, I met with the CPO and someone in charge of implementation. The most important interview for me was with the VP of product; they were upfront about the role and assessed how well I could get things done.

So initially, a colleague referred me to the job and connected me with the head of product and strategy. We had a first call, and then I spoke with a couple of managers on the product team informally. They wanted to get to know me, and I wanted to learn about their products. After that, I had a case interview with a panel from product, design, and engineering. Even though I wasn't the right fit for the first role, they ended up finding another position on the product team that they thought would be a better match for my background.

I had a really great and organized interview process here, super efficient. Everyone was really nice too! First, an HR screening, then I spoke with the VP of Product who gave me a mini case. After that, it was three PMs back-to-back, then a whole hour for a product case interview, followed by a tech round, and finally a Q&A with the CEO.
