Candidate-reported interview process

I had a 1 hour interview with 2 managers, one more technical than the other. They asked several STAR method questions. I never got any feedback, and when I asked 3 weeks later, they just said they were still interviewing others before deciding.

Submitted my application online and was invited to a self-paced video interview pretty quickly. Then, about two weeks later, I had a panel interview with some peers that used the STAR method. Another two weeks after that, I had a final chat with the hiring manager, which was pretty chill and conversational. They were upfront about the slow process but expected to decide in 1-2 weeks. They told me to reach out if it took longer. I did, and after six weeks of follow-ups, I was told they went with someone else.

It was a typical interview with common questions asked. The interviewers were nice and friendly. Around 30 candidates were interviewed at the same time. Share your interview experience insights with job seekers so they know what to expect from the hiring process.
