Candidate-reported interview process

I had a phone interview with HR, who missed the first scheduled call and then missed the rescheduled call too. Despite this rocky start, I was invited for a 3-hour in-person interview, which felt overly long and repetitive. For what is essentially an advertising role, it was quite intense with 5 interviewers (4 via video). Each interviewer presented lengthy case studies, most of which I could handle, but it seemed like an excessive amount of work.

Phone interview with recruiter, then hiring manager, then VP. Finally, an in-person interview with the manager and the rest of the team. The team members were really nice and seemed genuinely interested in my potential fit with the team and company culture. I liked the team a lot, but I had to turn down the offer for personal reasons.

It was pretty easy. I had a phone interview with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person interview with the manager and the team. Since they found out I had a technical background, they were more focused on how I'd fit in with the team and other groups.
