The department directors reached out to me after seeing my resume via HR. We had a brief 30-minute introductory chat. After I formally applied for the position, I had a 1-hour interview with the directors. The questions were pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, I was informed a few days later that hiring had been put on hold.

It was a first-round interview and the interviewers were nice. Even though one of them was a bit condescending after I answered, asking awkward questions that didn't really move the conversation forward. I was told I would hear back in the following days, but after I reached out, I never got a reply. It seems like they say one thing but don't actually care about it in reality.

I applied online and was asked to do an online assessment. It was a comparative LCA case study that consisted of 4-5 questions and took me 2-3 hours to complete. I got nearly full scores, but then received an email saying I did not make it to the interview without any explanation. I reached out to the recruiter and she explained that although my answers were great, they decided to interview more experienced candidates.
