Candidate-reported interview process

The whole thing took about 2 months. It started with a screener call. Then, a week later, I had interviews with 4 different Senior UXRs over the course of 4 weeks. To wrap it up, I was given a case study to work on, choosing from 3 different prompts, and then presented it. A week after that, I got the offer. Overall, a good process!

It started with a recruiter call asking basic background questions like which methods you know, how many user interviews you've done, who you've presented to, and how you make clients feel comfortable. They kinda just typed out what I said. Then there was a 30-minute mock usability test of a website I picked. I had 72 hours to prep a report with an about me, what I learned, my mod guide, and a prior work example. The last step was two back-to-back interviews with senior researchers, mostly behavioral questions. Even though there was a lot of work, everyone was really nice and put me at ease. They were serious about it but not intimidating.

We start with a call from the talent team. After that, you'll do a mock research exercise where you'll need to write a report. Finally, we'll have in-person rapid-fire interviews with a UXR and some managers. It takes a good chunk of your time and you really need to show your core researcher skills, especially in writing a report.
