I talked to a recruiter and then the hiring manager. Both were nice and knew their stuff. After that, I never heard back from ANSER, even after sending a thank you and two follow-ups over a month. So, yeah, don't take ghosting personally, it's probably just how they recruit.
I only had the initial recruiter gate review. The recruiter was one of the most knowledgeable and professional recruiters I have spoken to in my career. Her request to talk was intriguing and genuine. She explained the details of the position well and was genuinely interested in me applying. She said she I was a good fit. Unfortunately, she went on PTO, and the position was filled when she returned to work.
Recruiter reached out about a role. Client wanted someone more experienced so they moved me to a different project. The PM reached out directly via phone. After an intro call, I met the customer for a fit check. I got the offer within 2 weeks.
