Another Broken Egg Cafe Retail Associate interviews, decoded.

The interview process was very friendly and welcoming. I was called as they were closing and got there just in time. I was greeted by the front manager and spoke with him for a while. The second interview was supposed to be with the GM, but he didn't show up. Instead, they just told the other manager to offer me a slightly increased wage. Without the GM there, I was unable to negotiate this further.

I just walked in, dressed nicely with my resume, and talked to the assistant manager. We then set up an interview to talk with the manager. It was a really easy interview with the usual questions you find online.

The interview was super straightforward, mostly asking about my past restaurant jobs. They really wanted to get to know me on a personal level to make sure I'd fit in with the team and the general vibe of the place. It seems like they genuinely care about understanding their employees so they can set you up for success.
