The interview process was long. I was told I'd interview with three managers, but one wasn't there, and another had to leave the room. So, it felt a bit more tense overall.

The interview process felt a bit awkward. You start by applying online, then an HR person calls you for a phone screening. After that, you schedule an interview with the manager. Then, I had a Zoom interview with some nurses who work on the unit. Once an offer is made, you have to submit your references and complete a background check online. It takes ages to get clearance, way longer than any other job I've had.

I went to the hospital and unit I was interviewing for, where I met with a nurse manager who asked me several questions. Following the formal interview, I was able to shadow a nurse. I then completed a clinical critical thinking questionnaire.
