The first step was a chat with a current associate, which felt pretty straightforward and not too difficult. I moved straight to the next phase, which involved a case study that I had to submit within two days. Unfortunately, I didn't make it past the case study, and they didn't give any specific feedback. There was also a complete lack of information about compensation or HR aspects throughout the entire process.
The process was thorough but enjoyable. It started with a take-home or technical screen, followed by a technical round, and then concluded with final rounds that included both technical and behavioral interviews. The behavioral part involved a chat with the CEO.
A recruiter reached out. I was given a take-home project, but didn't pass because I used an iterative solution instead of a recursive one. Apparently, a lot of other candidates also got rejected for this. It's kind of weird because it was supposed to be a project, not a strict algorithm question.
