The process was fine. There was a take-home assignment. My team interview was with this person who talked the whole time so I didn't get to say anything, and they said that 'there are two guys on the team who are super smart and there’s a girl on the team who I think is smart?' Worth flagging.
It was a pretty long process, but that's mostly cause it started around the holidays and went into the new year. I'd guess it usually takes about a month without that. The steps were recruiter call, then manager chat, then a tech screen, followed by an on-site, and then a final interview with the PM. The recruiter kept me in the loop the whole time.
I had a phone screen with the senior recruiter. They talked about the company and role and asked about my background. Then they laid out what the rest of the interview process might look like. It was a really friendly and conversational chat.
