HR reached out on LinkedIn and scheduled a screen interview with a screener. They asked about 2 coding questions and some iOS-related questions. After that, I received an invitation to their platform.
so basically it was a codility test first, then a chat with the engineering team about OOP, SOLID, threading, and memory management, and finally a meeting with HR.
My interview was really bad, the interviewer was hard to understand and didn't seem to listen. I had to repeat myself a lot. The recruiter was also unclear, which made it hard to explain things. I had to simplify my answers for him. I feel like interviews should be a two-way street, but this recruiter wasn't doing their job. It was demotivating and made me doubt the company. I hope recruiters get better training in communication for future interviews. It should be a chance to learn about each other, but this one missed the mark.
