Candidate-reported interview process

I went through an interview with Andela for a backend engineer position. It involved a live coding challenge with two questions, and then some verbal interviews about NodeJS and JavaScript.

I was contacted by an outsourced company recruiter, then I had the first call with the recruiter which was not technical. The last phase was a technical call with an engineer, we had a technical interview divided in 3 steps: Introduction, Technical assessment (a challenge on Repl testing problem-solving skills), and a Technical discussion about Nodejs, design patterns, and databases.

First there was a basic English test to check if I was proficient. Then I had a coding test for a stack I was comfortable with. After that, an oral interview with the lead engineer. If that went well, I was put into the pool.
