It was a multi-step process that included a final presentation to walk through the product process for a new product idea that was given as a prompt to each candidate.
Started with a super friendly recruiter call, mostly getting background info and experience level details. Then I met the hiring manager for some typical interview questions about my background as a developer. After that, there was a technical coding interview that felt really fair, no crazy brain busters, just realistic challenges you'd actually do day-to-day. The interviewers were helpful too, guiding if you were on the right track. The whole thing took about two weeks. The recruiter was awesome, super professional and kept me updated with feedback the whole way. Definitely a 10/10 experience compared to others.
The whole thing was pretty smooth and professional. Started with a recruiter chat, then a technical interview where they hit me with SQL and Python questions, and we talked about pipeline design. After that, I had a behavioral chat with the hiring manager, mostly about how I handle working with others and solving problems. They were clear with communication and scheduling was easy. Felt respected and supported the whole time, and the questions felt like real data engineering stuff.
