Recruiting was responsive and efficient. The interviewers were a varied group, but mostly good. As is common in the Bay Area tech scene, there were quite a few interview rounds and the take-home assignment required a significant amount of preparation.
The interview process was pretty smooth overall, though it did take a bit of time. It kicked off with a recruiter chat, then I had a behavioral interview with the hiring manager. After that, there were interviews with about 4-5 people from different teams, a product portfolio presentation, and finally a meeting with an executive. The recruiter, Masaho, was fantastic – really organized and easy to communicate with. She was super clear about what to expect in each round and always ready to help or explain how things worked at the company.
Applied through a referral. The recruiter contacted me fairly quickly and arranged a phone screen. The phone screen itself was really straightforward and standard - I felt like it went well. I didn't get any updates for a while, so I followed up. Still nothing, so I followed up again. And again. Then I was ghosted.
