The interview process was great, the recruiter was communicative and every interviewer was welcoming. To prep, understand the organization and product depth and breadth. Prepare your experience examples. Initial interviews: Recruiter screening call, interview with VP Customer Success. Then a 3-hour block: interview with Senior CSM, a presentation with role play, and an interview with Director of Customer Success.
We started with a 30-min screening call with the recruiter. Then, there was a 30-min Zoom interview with either the VP of CS or Director of CS (depending on region). After that, we had about a 3-hour session which included a 1-hour presentation/role-play of a CSM/Client Kickoff. This was followed by a 45-min chat with a Sr. CSM about expectations. Finally, there was a 1-hour interview with the Director of CS from the other region, focusing on value realization and empathy.
It was a long interview process but totally worth it. I met with about 5 to 8 people from different departments. They wanted to check my value fit, my technical skills, how I handle customer relationships and if I'm good at listening and teaching.
