The interview process involves three stages: an initial HR call, followed by a meeting with the regional Sales head, and concluding with an interview with the VP of APJ. The entire process is typically wrapped up within two weeks. What's really important is having experience as a high-touch sales professional. Experience in digital analytics isn't a big factor.
I had an initial HR chat, then spoke with the hiring manager. The hiring manager then had me do a case study, which was quite involved. After I finished the case and we set up the panel interview, they told me they'd gone with internal candidates. They didn't even look at my case study, which took 14 hours, and they offered no compensation for my time. It felt like a really unprofessional and abusive situation.
I received an automated rejection email less than an hour after applying. I updated my application and resume with keywords from the job description itself, hoping to bypass any AI/automated checks. I really wonder if anyone even looked at my resume, or worse, if I was rejected due to the recruiter's biases. Even if I wasn't a fit for the role, it makes your hiring team look sloppy.
