The interview process started with a phone interview with the operations manager, and then there was an on-site interview where I met the team and saw the facilities. It was a pretty simple and straightforward process. The interviewers were nice and smart.
It was pretty tough, they really want to hire the best people possible and this showed in the interview process. The interviewers were all nice people but they made it clear how they expect their employees to work. I felt comfortable and they didn't make me feel scared.
About three to six weeks after I applied, HR called and said Amgen wanted to interview me. The HR person I first spoke with wasn't the one I'd set up the time with, but they said the hiring manager on-site would contact me soon. A few days later, the hiring manager called, and we set a date for the interview, which I think was about a week after that. The interview itself lasted only an hour, and I was interviewed by a panel of different managers and people from other manufacturing roles. I haven't heard back yet, but I'll update this if I do.
