We started with two phone chats - one with the person who would be my manager and another with HR. Then we moved to an on-site interview. The on-site included dinner the night before and then a full day of interviews the next day. The interview day itself had a 45-minute seminar with a 15-minute Q&A afterwards. The rest of the day was a mix of one-on-one meetings, lunch, and a 30-minute session where they quizzed me on my knowledge.
Had a bunch of phone interviews, talked with several directors and senior scientists. Then I was invited for an onsite interview and to present my research. During the site visit, I had face-to-face interviews the whole day. Everyone was really nice. They invited me to dinner at the end.
I had several phone screens, then a full day onsite with 10 people. I also presented a seminar which had a long Q&A. After that, there was a drug screen and a very thorough background check that took a while.
