Had 2 rounds of interviews with different team members. First, an HR interview that was 1 hour long, then I met with the hiring manager. The whole experience was great, and the interview questions were pretty straightforward and similar to what was in the job description.
The process took over 4 months, and in the end, I wasn't even told I didn't get the job by HR. I had to reach out multiple times to get an answer. I put my life on hold for this, even my lease ended and I was trying to figure out if I had to move to Chicago. It felt dehumanizing and disrespectful.
I had a phone interview for about 20 minutes. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview. I met with an HR person who talked about my resume and the benefits. Then I met with the hiring manager and after that the VP.
