Candidate-reported interview process

It was a great pleasure working with amex, the interview process is very good and they checked indepth knowledge on Kafka, golang and microservices, design architecture. Work pressure is very less but if you dont perform as expected then you end up with layoff, so make sure your work should be visible to your director.

Got a call from a recruiter at first. Then HR screening was done via the recruitment agency. Had one technical interview with Amex. Technical and coding questions were fair. But the interviewer had a strong accent and it was really hard to understand them or connect with them.

It began with a Recruiter Screen, then I had an interview with several Senior Engineers and Engineering Managers. They took turns asking me questions about my resume (behavioral) and gave me coding challenges and puzzles.
