The first stage interview was in person with 2 product managers. They didn't really ask questions in the format "Tell me a time" which threw me off a bit and forced me to think harder. They also asked me a question I had already answered in a previous question. They also asked 2 questions at once. They could have made the interview more simple and not try to be too unique. Recruiter took 3 weeks to call me back and didn't respond to my email chaser.
I got picked through the Amex product track hackathon. First there was an online assessment, then a group discussion, and after that two rounds of interview. Winners of the hackathon from my college were chosen to go straight to the interviews. I didn't pass the first interview round.
So I kicked things off with a phone screen with someone from HR. Honestly, they didn't give me much info over the phone, and when I asked questions about the job or what the interview process would be like, they couldn't answer anything. After that, I just got ghosted.
