There were many rounds of assessment, but it was quite efficient. It included a group interview and a final interview with the managers I would be working with. Overall, it was a good experience and took less than a month.
My Amex GCS interview was kinda meh. The tech interviewer barely even said hi, seemed spaced out, and talked over me when I was explaining my project. They totally brushed aside ML and jumped straight to easy questions. In the HR round, someone actually yawned while I was talking, and when I asked about what I'd be doing, they were like, 'You'll figure it out.' It felt like they weren't really into the chat or me.
I took an OA today. It was a 60-minute test. The sections included Logical Reasoning/Data Interpretation/Abstract Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Statistics, and Coding in ML/Python/SQL. It was super rushed, way too many questions and not enough time. We'll see if I make the shortlist.
