It was a pretty decent and organized interview process, they really drilled down on SQL, basic ML concepts like boosting and handling imbalanced data, and also how you'd approach business problems such as detecting fraud. They seemed more interested in seeing how you think logically with puzzles and guesstimates than with really hard coding tasks.
So it kicked off with a call from HR, then I went through some behavioral stuff and technical questions. After that, it was a 3-person panel interview where we talked tech, went over a case study, and did some puzzles.
The interviewer was really keen on hearing about my past experiences. It was a pretty low-stress chat overall. They asked straightforward questions, like about my previous projects and some puzzles, nothing too tough. We also had a good chunk of time discussing the role, what parts of it I found interesting, and why they thought I'd be a good fit.
