Candidate-reported interview process

I met with two designers, who were my future head designer and her boss. Then I met with the creative director. It was very casual. I had to present a project I completed in my own time that was relevant to the job I was applying for.

After the first interview, I was given a design challenge. However, during the second interview, the interviewers seemed unaware of this challenge, and I never heard back from them.

It was super long: they had an Info Session, then a Moodboard Project, followed by a Capsule Collection Project. After that, there was a Feedback session with an AEO Designer, and then a Final interview with 3 people, including the Leadership Team and Senior Designers. They ended up hiring some talented students from good schools, but honestly, they just put logos on shirts and call it design, nothing groundbreaking.
